Potomac, Maryland, January 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Advanced Computing, Inc. ("ZAC") makes technical breakthrough towards Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), where the various attributes and details of objects can be recognized in images efficiently, enabling a multi-tier deep image search in a wide variety of applications. "The unique features of our technology can give Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Baidu, Facebook, and other search engine companies the capability to discover a lot more details about the objects in images," said Dr. Bijan Tadayon, CEO of ZAC. "Our revolutionary image recognition technology can also help Walmart, Target, Staples, Amazon, Alibaba, E-Bay, JD.com, and other e-commerce or online retailers find products in their inventories, just from images. Furthermore, it can help Uber, Nissan, Google, Nvidia, Tesla, Volvo, Toyota, and other autonomous car companies extract more details from the surrounding of driverless cars. We are also very proud that our technology can in the near future help medical imaging companies, like Siemens and GE, detect medical abnormalities in images for better diagnosis," said Dr. Saied Tadayon, CTO of ZAC.
Following an angel round of funding in 2014, ZAC obtained funding from the State of Maryland (TEDCO) in 2016 for its shoe recognition platform.
